Off Grid
01. Choose your Design
Explore our selection of off-grid plans and discover an option that fits your lifestyle perfectly! Be sure to review all the included features, and if there are any minor adjustments you need, we can potentially incorporate those into your home.
02. Production
Once the design has been chosen and a deposit has been paid, your home will be put into production.
03. Delivery
Our Urban Cribs team will assist in organising delivery of your off-grid home to your site. Please see our delivery locations or contact us to discuss available options for your location.
04. Set Up
Our team will assist in setting up the modular home along with all off-grid components at your location, including solar & water systems included in your kit.
Turnkey Homes
*This process guide only applies to Turnkey Package homes and DOES NOT apply to Off Grid home purchase

01. Choose Your Design
Please review all designs on our website and choose a size and layout that suits you best. We can provide some minor alterations to our plans and have optional extras to consider.
We are able to provide an indication of cost based off a desktop review, but no finalised quote can be given until after Site Discovery has been completed.
02. Site Discovery $3500.00
The initial step in the process involves the exploration of your site to determine any construction requirements or constraints. This cost encompasses a soil test and design, contour survey, energy efficiency assessment, site access report, along with any necessary documentation for submitting an approval request. (Please Note: Additional payments is required if a BAL report is required, there is no allowance for any town planning reports or approvals if required).
Once we have all of the required site information, we will be able to provide a finalised quote. If you choose not to proceed after this step, you will retain all site documents to assist you in your building journey.
03. Contract & Approvals
If you accept the quote after the site discovery, a deposit is required to initiate the process of drafting your home on your property and preparing the plans for submission for approval.
Our team will manage any approvals required to build your home.
04. Site works & Procurement
While your home is in procurement stage in our factory, our on-site crew will be engaged to install footings on-site or carry out any required site-work prior to the modulars arriving on-site.
05. Production
Once all construction documentation has been approved and all procurement has been complete, we can begin manufacturing your home.
06. Delivery & Installation
Our team will arrange the delivery of your module, as well as any cranes required to install your home. Installation includes the connection to plumbing and electrical services as well as the installation of any decks and additional items. The installation timeframe for your home varies, ranging from 1 to 6 weeks, depending on the chosen design and additional elements.
